Günther Wudy


Günther Wudy, born 16 July 1942, began his career in a Vienna Bank and has worked since 1972 in Frankfurt for several North American Investment Banks. From 1978, he was an account executive with Dean Witter Reynolds specializing in options and futures. His activities as institutional manager of Interbank and futures sales at Prudential-Bache Securities, Frankfurt branch, cover the period 1983 to March 1988.

In June 1988, Mr. Wudy joined Commerzbank to head the development of a futures and options department, which would enable the bank to participate in the newly formed Deutsche Terminbörse. From June 1993 until September 1994, Mr. Wudy was instrumental in the organization and establishment of Commerz Futures Products - Commerzbank's over-the-counter derivatives subsidiary.

Currently, Mr. Wudy is responsible for coordinating the exchange traded brokerage operation of Commerzbank worldwide. He is also an active participant in the development of the new Commodity Exchange in Hannover, Germany.
