Dr. Erich Obersteiner, MBA

Before that he co-ordinated the investment banking activities of Raiffeisen Zentralbank Österreich AG in its branches and subsidiaries with a special focus on Central- and Eastern Europe.

From 1994 until mid 1998 he served as managing director of Raiffeisen Capital & Investment Praha, the local investment banking outlet of the Austrian Raiffeisen banking group in the Czech Republic.

He joined RZB in 1989. During his stay at RZB Mr. Obersteiner covered various positions in the area of equities and derivatives, including risk management and managerial tasks.

He also was a member of the project team implementing the Austrian Financial Futures and Options Exchange.

Mr. Obersteiner holds a graduate degree in business and economic informatic and a Ph.D. in economic informatic from the University of Vienna as well as an Executive MBA degree from California State University Hayward/IMADEC.
