Join us on the Bürgenstock in September !

The 19th edition of the International SFOA Meeting at Bürgenstock, as previously announced will be held from the 10th to the 13th of September 1998 featuring Switzerland as its guest country. SWX The Swiss Exchange and SOFFEX its derivative exchange have committed to make this 19th edition of "Bürgenstock" a truly unique experience for its friends, members, traders and allies from all over the world.

SOFFEX celebrates this year its 10th anniversary . First international electronic exchange, SOFFEX has shown the way to what globalised markets will be in the 3rd millennium. In Switzerland, SOFFEX has set the basis for a fully electronic marketplace. The fully integrated electronic trading and settlement system of the SWX Swiss Exchange is considered to be a worldwide leader in respect to technology. SWX will actively contribute to foster the upcoming structural changes of continental European financial markets.

Bürgenstock '98 will indeed be a rare occasion to meet top representatives from the Federal- and Regulatory authorities, senior representatives of the worlds financial centres, major market participants and last, but not least the members and executives of its exchanges.

Virtual reality will be our red thread, stressing virtual currency, instruments, markets and real networks behind virtual finance. The Asian crisis will also be addressed at Bürgenstock in September.

The SOFFEX anniversary celebration for traders will take place on Saturday, September 12, and will be a rare occasion for our international guests to meet with market users, while enjoying outdoor activities.
