Ned Swan's main areas of practice are derivatives, financial markets and electronic commerce. He has written and spoken widely and published three books. He is legal adviser to a number of governments, banks, markets, financial institutions and major companies in the UK, the US and many other countries, on all aspects of financial services regulation and trading including derivatives; electronic commerce; and securitisation. He is a leading International Legal Adviser on Financial Services Exchange Matters in London, New York, Chicago, Bahamas, St. Petersburg, Seoul, Warsaw, Budapest, Prague, Belgrade, Liverpool and California. He was for five years a member of the Board of the University of London's Institute of Advanced Legal Studies and is now a Research Fellow at the Institute and a Visiting Professor of Financial Services Law at London Guildhall University. Ned has a JD degree from New York University and is a member of the New York Bar.
