Adam Sorab


Adam Sorab is the Chairman of The Information Industry Association's FISD-Historical Data Working Group. This group was set up to provide recommendations to the financial data industry on suitable provision of historical financial data following the redenomination of financial securities post Euro. He is also the Chairman of the Society of Technical Analysts (STA) and Chairman of the STA's Data Quality Group. In addition, he is a Director of The International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA), where his work is focused on global financial data.

Mr Sorab has worked in the City of London since 1984 and is currently responsible for global marketing and investor relations for Credit Suisse First Boston's Leveraged Funds Group, an Alternative Investment fund management group.

Before joining Credit Suisse London's Treasury in 1995 as Head of UK Sales, Mr. Sorab worked for Schroders in London, developing investment & hedging strategies and structures for corporate and institutional clients.

Mr Sorab was educated in England and in 1984 gained his BSc (Econ) in Analytical & Descriptive Economics from the London School of Economics.
