Otto E. Naegeli has been appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Eurex in September 1997. Until September 1998 he is Chief Executive Officer at SOFFEX (Swiss Options and Financial Futures Exchange AG), position he held since 1987. From 1994 to 1997, he was also a Member of the Management Board of the Swiss Exchange. From 1969 to 1970, he was a trainee at Credit Suisse in Zurich. Subsequently he was junior officer at Credit Suisse (Canada) Ltd. Montreal and later Manager of a city-branch of Credit Suisse in Zurich until 1976. In that same year he also received the Swiss Bankers' diploma. Furthermore, Mr. Naegeli was Senior Vice President of the Bank of Tokyo (Switzerland) Ltd. where he was in charge of investment and private banking.
