Anthony J. Hopkins, aged 40, joined the risk management division of Reuters in 1987 and since then has held a variety of international posts in marketing, technology and 'the euro'. From September 1998 he will be based in Geneva, Switzerland, at the headquarters for Europe, Middle East and Africa. He will be responsible for content and the commercial relationships surrounding market data. This includes all information provided by exchanges, market participants and specialist information providers.
