Mr. R. Ramaseshan is the Managing Director & CEO of the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), Mumbai, India. NCDEX is a leading commodity exchange in India and offers a nation wide electronic platform for trading in agri products, base metals, precious metals, plastics and carbon. Mr. R. Ramaseshan has a long career in the civil services before joining the current position in the NCDEX. He has extensive experience in public finance and tax reforms and financial markets. He holds a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering and a masters degree in Business Administration with specialisation in Finance. He is a qualified fellow member of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.
