Dr. Herbert Oberhaensli

Mr. Herbert Oberhaensli is Assistant Vice President, Head Economics and International Relations of Nestlé S.A., in Vevey. In this position, which he holds since 2000, Mr. Oberhaensli is also the Assistant for Economic Affairs to the Chairman of the Nestlé Group. Previously, Mr. Oberhaensli held and important position in the Swiss Ministry fo Economics, in Bern and more specifically in the economics department of the Frederal Offic for Foreign Economic Affairs and direcorate for the export credit insurance. From 1974-1982 he headed several research projects in international economics and immovation research mandated by the industry, the Swiss National Bank, the Swiss Ministry of Ecomonics and the Swiss Science Foundation. Mr. Herbert Oberhaensli holds a PhD in economics from the University of St.Gallen.
