Jean-Baptiste Zufferey is professor of administrative regulation at the Faculty of Law, University of Fribourg (CH). In 2003, he was nominated dean of the faculty. Prof. Zufferey has specialized in banking and financial market regulation. In 1998-2000, he chaired a national expert group on financial market supervision. Since 2003, he is the vice president of the Swiss Federal Banking Commission. Prof. Zufferey also teaches at the Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, he is admitted to the Geneva bar and has received a LL.M. degree from the University of Michigan Law School.
