Arshad Khan is a functional expert in the commodities, derivatives and equities markets and has successfully managed setting-up electronic marketplaces. Arshad have proven expertise in employing technology for the end-to-end automation of all segments of transactional financial services vertical. Currently Arshad is handling the ‘International Business’ division of Financial Technologies Group. He is based out of Dubai and is heading the Financial Technologies Middle East office under which he is responsible to expand the group companies’ presence in the Middle East and North Africa region. He is also on the Board and Management team of Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange (DGCX) besides being a Director with Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX). He was instrumental in setting-up of DGCX and is actively involved since its inception. He was part of the core team that established MCX, the third largest bullion futures exchange in the world. Over the years, Arshad has visited various global exchanges and conducted detailed studies of trading and clearing systems. Among the various projects, Arshad has designed and implemented India's most sophisticated and widely used 'Straight Through Processing' (STP) market-wide platform approved by the Indian securities regulator. He is a renowned subject expert he frequently appears in the media with his views on commodities and electronic market- places. He is an avid speaker and has spoken and chaired sessions at various industry conferences. Arshad holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration.
