Prof. Dr. Mark Holder

Dr. Mark Holder is an Associate Professor of Finance, Chairman of the Department of Finance and Director of the Master Science in Financial Engineering with teaching and research experience in the area of Financial Engineering. His teaching experience includes courses at the Masters and Doctoral levels. Prior to joining Kent State University, he was a Senior Economist and Group Manager for research and product development at the Chicago Board of Trade where he participated in the design, launch, and marketing of the Dow Jones Industrial Average futures and futures options contracts. He was also responsible for Asian market intelligence for Chicago Board of Trade strategic analysis research. He has published more than 35 articles in journals including Financial Management, The Journal of Futures Markets, Derivatives Quarterly, and Derivatives Use, Trading and Regulation.
