Mr. Gemuenden is a pioneer in the electronic trading business. Starting his career in Frankfurt, Germany he initiated the leverage of EUREX’s advantage of early conversion to electronic trading. In 1992 he co-founded RTS Realtime Systems in Frankfurt. Mr. Gemuenden is currently heading the US operations based in Chicago.

RTS designs and creates high performance, functionally rich, multi-asset electronic trading software. The firm’s software suite includes the algorithmic trading platform RTD Tango, with its full back-testing capabilities as well as connections to more than 85 exchanges.

RTS has nine offices and four distribution partners in the major financial centers of the world.
