Patrick L Young is in the process of creating a hedge fund to invest in exchanges, market platforms and other organisations in line with the precepts outlined in his analyses of market structure such as the “Capital Market Revolution” books which have proven prescient in a wide range of developments including ETFs, hedge funds, Single Stock futures, stock exchange structure and sports exchanges. A passionate innovator, Patrick continues to work on new market applications and has consulted to many leading wholesale financial institutions throughout the world. Patrick has considerable media experience having founded online publisher erivatives.com devoted to tradable markets in 1996 and most recently Derivatives Vision the unique online television channel for financial markets professionals. He is also Chairman of Bourseinformation, the provider of a unique Company Annual Reports database which also licenses its web-based ASP technology. He serves as a director of the Swiss Futures & Options Association and this year presides over his sixth “Crossfire” panel. Patrick is a regular guest on CNBC Europe and a media commentator in leading financial journals including the Wall Street Journal, having broadcast on many major television and radio networks world-wide. He has regular columns in Global Custodian and Trading Places. He is currently writing a manifesto on exchange markets to be published by Derivatives Vision Publishing in association with the Association of Futures Markets to celebrate their 10th anniversary early in 2007.
