Prior to AEMS, John was CEO and then Director with SecFinex Limited, an independent trading exchange for equity finance products.

From the late 1990s and into the new millennium, John worked with Instinet Corporation in roles including Head of Technology Strategy, Head of Program Management, Chief Technology Officer, and CEO of Global Equities.

Prior to this, John’s career history includes roles as Head of Technology for Europe with Merrill Lynch, Global Head of Swaps Technology at Merrill Lynch, Head of Risk Management Systems at Credit Suisse Financial Products and Head of Infrastructure at Credit Suisse.
