Since 1 July 2004, George Möller (57) has been CEO of Robeco. He has held management positions at various financial institutions in several countries. From 2001, George Möller was a member of the executive board and COO of Euronext NV, with responsibility for its cash and clearing business unit. From the end of 1996 he was president of Amsterdam Exchanges NV. Before that he was general manager of MeesPierson in London. He began his career with AMRO Bank, now ABN AMRO, where he held various positions in the Credit, Syndicated Loan and Treasury departments. Since 2004, George Möller has been non-executive director of the Dubai International Financial Exchange. In 2003, he was a member of the Tabaksblat Committee, which produced recommendations on best practices for corporate governance in the Netherlands. Between 2000 and 2003, he was non-executive chairman of the Federation of European Securities Exchanges (FESE). As president of Amsterdam Exchanges, he took the initiative to establish the Dutch Securities Institute in 2000, which aims to stimulate integrity in the sector. From 1992 through 1996, George Möller was a non-executive member of the board of the London Futures and Options Market (LIFFE). In that capacity, he became chairman of its Equity Market Committee. During his tenure as board member of LIFFE, he also served on the FTSE 100 Index Steering Committee. George Möller graduated in Economics from the University of Groningen in 1974.
