Peter Koster has been active in the trading and banking environments throughout more than 15 years in senior management. Among other posts, he served as Chief Executive Officer at Fortis Bank U.K. (1999-2004), General Manager for MeesPierson London (1994-1999), and General Manager for Van der Moolen Holding NV Amsterdam (1990-1994). Peter has built up an impressive track record in both managing business start-ups and developing trading and clearing member organisations. With a strong background in managing large integration process projects, Peter’s high profile assignments have included involvement in the transformation of key exchanges, such as LIFFE, from open outcry to full automation. The European Climate Exchange (ECX) is the leading exchange in Europe for carbon emissions trading. ECX contracts are listed on the ICE Futures electronic platform and cleared by LCH.Clearnet.
