Sigurd has more than 20 years experience in financial markets and IT. Sigurd is co-founder of Ecominds, a financial markets consultancy group, and of Derivatives Vision, a financial markets media company together with Patrick Young. Sigurd previously worked for UBS Investment Bank in respectively the Risk Management Products/Structured Products group, the global exchange connectivity/flow-trading group and in the prop-trading/arbitrage group. Before joining UBS he was in IT management at LIFFE and London Commodity Exchange. Before this, he designed and built platforms for Pont Data, Equisoft (Reuters), Quotron and ADP. Sigurd in addition has interests in energy and energy markets, and serves on the board of a fuelcell company.
