Craig Heimark

Craig Heimark is a private investor and strategic consultant living in Silicon Valley. He is currently a member of the Boards of Deutsche Boerse (Germany) and Avistar (USA) and the international charity Free The Children. Since 1997, Craig has been managing director of the Hawthorne Group, a strategic advisory firm that consults to both financial service firms and high growth information technology companies. Prior to founding the Hawthorne Group, he served in various roles at Swiss Bank from 1990 to 1997, including being a member of the management committee of Swiss Bank Warburg, Chief Information Officer and head of Strategic Planning. In a former life, Craig was a floor trader on the Chicago Board Options Exchange.
