Christoph HARTGENS (1965) is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Zurich based Tradejet AG, a Online Broker of the new generation, with its main focus on warrants and certificates. Tradejet targets on self-directed private investors and heavy traders and is therefore operating a highly professional web-platform. After finishing his training as a banker, Christoph Hartgens additionally obtained qualifications as a derivatives trader (amongst other places like in Chicago und New York) followed by a leading position at Credit Suisse Group in the trading department (Market-Making), as well as in the development, trade and sales of derivative and structured products. Among other things Mr. Hartgens was jointly responsible for the implementation of the futures trading as well as the index arbitrage at Credit Suisse. From 1995 until the spring of 1997 Christoph Hartgens was handling special transactions in the derivative domain at Credit Suisse and also was jointly responsible for the development of the first „CAT-Bond“, which afterwards has been quoted at the Suisse stock exchange (Winterthur convertible bond „with damage by hail“). Since 1989 Mr. Hartgens keeps the world of the certificates busy and receives the same in return…. In the year of 1997 Christoph Hartgens started his career in entrepreneurship. He founded his own company „Finance at Work AG“, which had its focus on the training and further education of Presidents and Chief Executive Officers of banks, brokers, sales employees and investment advisors. Parallel to the boom of the internet, the request for courses of instructions in trading for the private use was growing. Christoph Hartgens’s assistance during training respective the development and buildup of the derivative trading section of the Zurich Cantonal Bank (ZKB) was a leading and remarkable point to get ahead a good start. This was further continued and deepened by constantly, additional activities at the stock exchange and other well-known banks. His great and long lasting experiences with the Swiss Derivative Market and also his special connections to issuers as well as online traders and market makers are giving him a great advantage and help in handling his responsibilities as the „Chief Executive Officer“ of the Tradejet AG.
