Jim Gollan

Jim Gollan became CEO of virt-x in mid-2005. Jim has been working for virt-x since its inception, joining from Tradepoint Financial Networks plc, which then became virt-x. He was previously Director of Finance at Tradepoint and virt-x, and subsequently served as a member of the Executive Committee as well as Deputy CEO. Jim, a graduate of Bristol University, began his career by training as a (ICAEW) Chartered Accountant. From there he joined Lloyds Bank Group’s financial division and became Group Management Accountant. After working as Group Financial Controller and Treasurer of Gartmore Investment Management, he moved to Standard Chartered Plc, where his last position was as CFO for Hong Kong and China. Before joining Tradepoint in 2000 he was Managing Director of KPMG's Asia/Pacific Financial Services Consulting Practice.
