Mark Davies, 35, joined Betfair in March 2000, and is the company's Managing Director (Corporate Affairs). Mark began his career as a bond trader for JPMorgan, before leaving to pursue a career in the media. He was working freelance for BBC Radio 5 and the Daily Telegraph when he joined Betfair, having known one of its two founders, Edward Wray, from his time in the city. Mark is now considered to be the 'public face of Betfair', representing the company both here and abroad, in parliament, on television and in other public venues.
