Peter became a member of the Market Solutions team in June 2001. Sales & Marketing is responsible for the provision of Market Solutions to new clients and managing existing clients' requirements. Clients of Market Solutions include Euronext, Euronext.liffe, the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT), the Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGEX), the Winnipeg Commodity Exchange (WCE), the Tokyo International Financial Futures Exchange (TIFFE), the International Petroleum Exchange (IPE) and LCH.Clearnet (formerly the London Clearing House). In addition, Peter is responsible for developing new business products and services for trading and network products. Joining LIFFE in January 2000 as Head of Product Management, he was originally responsible for the commercial development, marketing and performance of exchange traded products. Peter has extensive experience in marketing and commercial management of financial services. Before joining LIFFE he headed the retail lending business of SUNCORPMetway, a large financial institution in Australia. Peter Shepherd has an MBA from the University of Queensland.
