James has over 15 years experience in commodities, joining MPC Investors from UBS, where he was Head of Exchange Traded Commodity Sales. He also spent 8 years with Man Group PLC as a physical commodity trader, where he was Managing Director of ED&F New Zealand Ltd, Chief Executive of Mackay Refined Sugars NZ Ltd, and a Director of ED&F Man Sugar Ltd. He started his career in the China Office of Swire Pacific in Hong Kong and has a degree in Chinese and Economics from London University’s School of Oriental & African Studies.
