Robert K. Wilmouth

Robert K. Wilmouth served as President and CEO of National Futures Association (NFA) from its inception in 1982 until 2002. He currently is NFA’s Special Policy Advisor. NFA, the industry-wide, self-regulatory organization for the futures industry, provides innovative regulatory programs and services that ensure marketplace integrity, protect market participants, and help NFA Members meet their regulatory responsibilities.

Mr. Wilmouth formerly served as President and CEO of the Chicago Board of Trade for approximately five years following a 27-year career in the banking industry, which included a term as President of the Crocker National Bank of San Francisco. He was also Chairman of LaSalle National Bank for over two decades. Mr. Wilmouth served as the Chairman of the Consultative Committee of IOSCO, is a Lifetime Trustee of the University of Notre Dame and former Chairman of its Investment Committee, and a member of the Economic Club of Chicago. Mr. Wilmouth is a graduate of Holy Cross College and holds as Masters degree from the University of Notre Dame.
