Kevin E. Pilarski is the Director for Alternative Strategies & Global Derivatives. Mr. Pilarski is responsible for marketing, promoting and licensing hedge fund indexes and other indexes to the institutional investment and derivative communities and to market participants. Mr. Pilarski has a deep knowledge of alternative investments, strategies and derivative markets. His team directs support for all alternative strategies and derivative products linked to all Dow Jones Indexes globally, including futures, options, structured products, exchange traded funds, over the counter products, and all tradable securities. He continues to work with exchanges and the traditional and alternative investment communities to market and promote joint ventures and initiatives. Prior to joining Dow Jones & Co., Mr. Pilarski, 41, was Vice President, Sales and Relationship Management at eSpeed, an electronic order matching system developed by Cantor Fitzgerald. He has served as Senior Manager of Institutional International Marketing at the Chicago Board of Trade. He has over 18 years of risk management and trading experience in the derivatives industry. He has organised and managed proprietary trading operations for Stafford Trading, LFG, LLC and Cooper-Neff and Associates. He started his career in asset management with Fidelity Investments and Merrill Lynch. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, and he holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago.
