Prior to 1971 Michael Jenkins worked for Shell, IBM and as a management consultant. Since that date he has been Technical Director of the London Stock Exchange, Managing Director of the European Options Exchange, Chief Executive of LIFFE, Chairman of the London Commodity Exchange, Chairman of the Futures & Options Association and Chairman of the London Clearing House. He has also been a director of Tradepoint and on the board of the SFOA. He is currently Chairman of E-Crossnet and Deputy Chairman of EasyScreen plc. He is also a director and trustee of the Brain & Spine Foundation and a Governor of Sevenoaks School
