Roy Leighton is Chairman of the European Advisory Board of Credit Lyonnais SA covering investment and commercial banking including derivatives in financial and commodity markets. He is Chairman of the Futures and Options Association the trade association for the derivatives industry. Roy Leighton is a Director of International Financial Services London Ltd, the body responsible for promotion of the UK’s financial services abroad. He is Chairman of the World Bank’s International Task Force for Commodities which provides a Price Risk Insurance Programme for LDC countries. He is a member of the Practitioner Panel created under the provisions of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and chairs the Industry Committee of the Parliamentary APG for Wholesale Financial Services in the United Kingdom. He is a Council Member of the British Consultants and Contractors Bureau (BCCB), a Visiting Professor at the City University and a Trustee of the Alzheimer Research Trust.
