Mark joined LIFFE as the Chief Information Officer in January 2001 and in January 2002 was promoted to Managing Director of LIFFE Market Solutions adding Sales, Marketing and Commercial Management to his CIO responsibilities and is now Managing Director, Market Solutions at Euronext.liffe. As Managing Director of Market solutions, Mark has been involved in the sale of LIFFE CONNECT® to NQLX, TIFFE and CBOT. Previously, Mark was a Managing Director of the Global Technology Division responsible for supporting the Investment Banking group within Deutsche Bank. He was responsible for technology in OTC Derivatives, Fixed Income, Risk Management and Emerging Markets. Prior to Deutsche Bank he held senior IT roles at Greenwich NatWest, CSFB/P, Kleinwort Benson and Bankers Trust. Euronext.liffe is the derivatives business of Euronext, comprising the Amsterdam, Brussels, LIFFE, Lisbon and Paris derivatives markets. It was formed following the purchase of LIFFE (the London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange) by Euronext in 2002. Euronext.liffe is creating a single market for derivatives, by bringing all its derivatives products together on a single electronic trading platform, LIFFE CONNECT®.
