Dilwyn Griffiths is the Head of Market Conduct and Infrastructure in the Financial Services Authority’s Markets and Exchanges Division. He is responsible for policy on the market conduct regime; market surveillance and transaction monitoring; and supervision of fixed income and financial derivatives trading platforms. Prior to joining the FSA in September 2001 he was head of Financial Stability and Markets at H. M. Treasury, responsible for policy on wholesale financial services, listing and systemic risk issues. He joined the Treasury in 1988 and held a variety of posts in the financial services and public expenditure directorates. From 1992 to 1995 he was seconded to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development in Paris as Director of the Financial Action Task Force on money laundering.
