In this role he has responsibility for external relationship management with members and strategic partners; strategy formulation and research and development; financial management of the individual product units to ensure delivery of budgeted performance and service quality to members; and sales and marketing on product, service and geographic lines.

After graduating in mathematics from Imperial College, London he joined Pricewaterhouse Coopers where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Arun became a partner at PwC where he headed the European Capital Markets consultancy practice. He also led their efforts on major industry developments such as the Single European Market and introduction of the Euro.
