SFOA and Bürgenstock

The Swiss Futures and Options Association (SFOA) is a Swiss, professional, non-religious, non-political, non-profit association of institutions interested in and concerned with all aspects of the futures and options (derivatives) industry and their related underlying assets. Its membership is composed of industry associations, derivative exchanges from all over the world, brokers, bankers, service-providers etc. Its membership is exclusively institutional. SFOA was founded in 1980 and has, every year since, organized the exclusive executive gathering of the Bürgenstock Meeting. Statistical information will reveal that the participants come from 25 countries from all over the world and are senior representatives from the major international stock and derivatives exchanges, regulatory bodies and association leaders, political and economic leaders from the Guest Country, top executives from international brokerage firms, as well as senior executives from banks and investment management firms. Also present are senior representatives from the servicing industry as well as brokers and traders involved in the international derivatives and equities markets. Since 1995, we have dedicated the Saturday afternoon to outdoor games, introducing four years ago the first Bürgenstock Golf Cup, with the support of INFOTEC. This very successful experience led us to organise the golf tournament again this year. |
