Ulf H. Lidman

Mr. Lidman has, since the deregulation of the electricity market in Scandinavia in the beginning of the 1990s, been dedicated to issues raised from the restructuring of energy markets in Europe and North America.

Today Mr. Lidman is responsible for two of the most interesting regional energy exchanges in the world. UKPX the dominant power exchange in the UK and NGX the most successful Canadian natural gas exchange. Together with the ownership of exchanges Mr. Lidman is also responsible for systems delivery of leading energy market solutions to NordPool, Korean Power Exchange and a number of market participants.

Mr. Lidman was responsible for delivering the first electricity trading and back office application developed in Scandinavia in 1995. He has also advised a large number of clients facing deregulation in Europe as well as in North America, Krångede Power Pool, Stockholm Energy, Electricité de France, Duke Solutions, Toronto Hydro and FirstEnergy.
