Roy Leighton is Chairman of the European Advisory Board of Credit Lyonnais SA covering investment and commercial banking including derivatives in financial and commodity markets. Roy Leighton has been based in the City of London for thirty years and has travelled extensively in the world´s emerging markets during a career in investment banking and management consultancy. Roy Leighton is a Director of International Financial Services London, the body responsible for promotion of the UK´s financial services abroad. He is Chairman of the World Bank´s International Task Force for Commodities which provides a Price Risk Insurance Programme for developing countries. He is also a member of the Practitioner Panel created under the provisions of the UK´s new Financial Services and Markets Act. He is Chairman of the FOA -the European Trade Association for Derivatives; a Council Member of the British Consultants and Contractors Bureau (BCCB) and a Trustee of the Alzheimer Research Trust.
