Jimmy Ho is Head of Corporate Strategy Functional Unit at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Ltd. ("HKEx"). He is responsible for corporate strategic planning and development of HKEx with a focus on new businesses, alliances, and long-term business-building initiatives. A key member of the Management Committee, Jimmy is also responsible for the day-to-day management of HKEx. Before assuming his position in February 2002, Jimmy was Senior Vice President of Business Development Division, Derivatives Market and responsible for market development, education and training, product development and marketing of the Exchange's products and services. Prior to joining Hong Kong Futures Exchange Ltd., a subsidiary of HKEx, in March 1998, Jimmy served in the treasury and capital markets sectors in Hong Kong and Canada for 15 years. He has extensive experience in the field covering trading and marketing of FX, interest rates, fixed income and structured products. He was Head of Currency Options for HSBC managing their Asia-Pacific portfolio risks. Jimmy holds a M.A. and a B.A. (Hons) in Economics degree from University of Western Ontario, Canada.
