John Foyle

John Foyle gained a degree in Economics at St John's College, Cambridge, and subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse before joining the London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange in 1981 at the inception of its programme to develop and open the Exchange. His responsibilities with LIFFE, initially as Market Secretary, have included contract design, rules and regulations, financial surveillance, market and trading surveillance, trading operations and the legal and taxation fields. As Deputy Chief Executive he also has functional responsibility for Policy and Strategy.
