Marc Carletti is Managing Director for Reuters’ Switzerland and Central Europe region as of 1 May 2001. In this capacity he oversees sales, marketing and operations and will continue to expand Reuters business in the region. Marc returned to his native Switzerland after holding several positions in Reuters since joining in 1987. Most recently, he was General Manager Mexico and Central America and Director Enterprise Solutions for Reuters Latin America. Marc’s professional career at Reuters includes positions as Business and Marketing Manager in Germany and Sales Director in Spain. Marc’s professional career began with Banque Paribas in Geneva, in the area of Technology and Data Organization. He later joined Hewlett–Packard as Sales and Marketing Manager and worked in the Business Solutions for a company in the French part of Switzerland. Marc Carletti was born in Geneva on 26th October 1959. He grew up in Milan and afterwards studied in Switzerland at the University of Geneva where he received his Business Administration degree with a major in Information Technology.
