Dan Reinmund is Vice President of Business Development for Reuters Retail Solutions business. Reuters vision: "to make the financial markets really work on the Internet" is based on a strategy to link its information and technology business in order to anticipate and meet the e-commerce needs of the financial markets. As VP of Business Development, Dan is responsible for creating repeatable and documented solutions and experience, and developing new relationships with business partners and major customers, across the financial services industry, in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Reuters Retail Solutions offering includes the infrastructure and enabling technology to support online trading, financial portals, and private banking applications. Dan has 10 years experience in product development, marketing, and consulting in Reuters with extensive international experience working in Brazil, Mexico, Switzerland, UK, and USA. Prior to joining Reuters, Dan was product manager for Rich Inc., developing product strategies for trading room systems. Before Rich, Dan was senior project manager at Mellon Bank, responsible for software development and system management of Mellon’s interest rate risk management system. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
