Lee H. Olesky

BrokerTec Global, is a consortium of some of the world’s leading securities dealers that was formed to develop, through its subsidiaries, a global electronic inter dealer brokerage of fixed income securities and derivatives. BrokerTec is the first all electronic inter dealer-broker that has implemented a single, distributed on-line order matching platform globally that provides access to a central pool of liquidity for fixed income securities. BrokerTec commenced its operations in late June 2000.

Mr Olesky joined BrokerTec at its formation in March 1999 to develop the business plan, raise capital and establish operations for the company. Previously, Mr. Olesky was employed at Credit Suisse First Boston for six years, most recently as Chief Operating Officer of the Fixed Income Division in the Americas. Mr Olesky has been involved in a number of consortium-related activities throughout his career. In 1996, Mr Olesky was CSFB’s point person in the development and founding of TradeWeb and served as the Chairman of the Board for the first two years of its operation. Prior to his Chief Operating role at CSFB, Mr Olesky was senior counsel for the Fixed Income Division at CSFB. Mr Olesky also spent three years at the Public Securities Association, a US bond trade association, where he was responsible for the government securities division. Prior to that Mr Olesky was employed at the First Boston Corporation as counsel in the Credit department, and prior to that he was in private practice at a New York law firm. Mr Olesky has a JD from the George Washington University Law School and a BA from Tulane University. He also attended the University College in London, England.
