Shawn Dorsch is one of two co-founders of DNI Holdings Inc., builder and operator of the Blackbird, the world's first inter-dealer electronic trading system for interest rate swaps and other privately negotiated OTC derivatives. From 1993 to 1995, Mr. Dorsch was Vice President at First Union National Bank, where he was their first interest rate swap and options trader, and was instrumental in helping them develop their derivatives business. From 1987 to 1993, he was an Equity Derivatives trader with J.P. Morgan & Co. in their Tokyo office. Mr. Dorsch has a degree in Economics from North Carolina State University. He has attended Yale University's advanced Japanese language programs. He is a member of the North Carolina Society of Financial Analysts.
