Mr. Collot graduated cum laude in 1982 with a Master in Economics and Social Sciences from Notre Dame de la Paix University (Belgium). He joined Citibank (London) in 1987. He is currently a Managing Director with the Alternative Investment Strategies (AIS) group and AIS Regional Head of Distribution for Europe, the Middle East. His background includes a long experience in credit structures, asset-backed securities and performance linked programs. Mr. Collot has been involved in the raising of subordinated debt and equity tranches for many of Citibank's managed investment companies during the last eight years. Mr. Collot has recently developed an infrastructure for field engineering and distribution of hedge funds related products to institutional and retail investors. In addition Mr. Collot has a long experience in the marketing and sales of capital markets related products and has spent the last fourteen years with Citibank holding several different positions in Europe, including Head of Capital Markets Distribution in Paris. He is currently based in Geneva. Prior to joining Citibank, Mr. Collot held several positions with Generale Bank (Brussels) and Samuel Montagu (UK). Citi Alternative Investment Strategies (AIS) is the alternative investment management unit of Citigroup. AIS delivers highly innovative structures which satisfy a broad range of investment objectives: diversification, enhanced risk adjusted returns, capital preservation and risk management. AIS is composed of 133 professionals located in New York, San Francisco, Toronto, London, Geneva, Tokyo, Taipei and Seoul and currently has over $30 billion under management and advisement.
