Trevor Cass is currently CEO of ITSEcco – a newly established Anglo-Swedish company formed by the merging of Ecco Ltd, a UK based ISV and Univits International AB, a Swedish based developer and operator of ECN B2B exchanges. Previously he has been a consultant in the fields of international foreign exchange, money and derivative markets and has a particular interest in the effects of new technology on the operation, size and distribution of these businesses. Since 1995 he has worked with a number of companies directly involved in this field including Reuters, Tantus, Cognotec, The EBS Partnership, 4CAST and Unisys and until his recent appointment as CEO of ITSEcco, had been consulting for Univits Europe AB. He was COO for Barclays Futures with global responsibility for compliance, IT, clearing and settlement 1993-1994 and previously Divisional Managing director, UK & Europe, for BZW Markets Division (1991-1993). From 1975 he had worked with the parent bank, Barclays, in their London based Global Treasury Services operation, heading it from 1985 until 1991. A former chairman of the British Bankers' Association’s Foreign Exchange and Money Markets Committee and panel member of the Wholesale Markets Brokers Association he is also a member of ACI London, a member of the city Disputes Panel, a registered representative of the SFA and an Associate Director of Tantus PLC.
