I. Professional Experiences Since January 1999, Dr. Christian Imo is CEO and Chairman of the Board of ex-it EDV Consulting GmbH, Vienna. Ex-it was founded by Dr. Christian Imo at the beginning of last year and is a modern consulting company specialised in exchange information technology. For one year, between December 1997 and December 1998, Dr. Christian Imo was a member of the Executive Board of Wiener Börse Aktiengesellschaft (WBAG). WBAG was established as a result of the merger between ÖTOB (the Austrian Futures and Options Exchange) and VSX (Vienna Stock Exchange) in December 1997. Overall, Imo’s main responsibilities were market management, supervision of clearing and settlement, information technology (all systems), membership management, remote members, product development, finance and controlling, international affairs. During 7 years, beginning of October 1990 until November 1997, Dr. Christian Imo was Ceo and Chairman of the Board of the Austrian Futures and Options Exchange, ÖTOB Aktiengesellschaft in Vienna. He established the exchange in cooperation with OM Stockholm, assumption of responsibility for all its activities. During the years of 1989 until 1990, Dr. Christian Imo was the Head of Trading at the German Futures Exchange (DTB) in Frankfurt am Main. He established the fully electronic exchange, including trading and clearing; project planning and implementation in cooperation with Arthur Andersen Consulting. Dr. Imo was also responsible for product development and technical implementation; market monitoring; information and organization of members; chairing of working groups and representation of the company on national and international associations. From 1982 to 1987, Dr. Christian Imo was scientific assistant to the Chair of Criminal Law and Law of Criminal Procedure and Law Seminar of the University of Heidelberg. After being admitted to the Court in 1988, he set up his own office as an independent lawyer in Heidelberg. His focus was on economic law with special emphasis on banking and exchange matters, corporate law and constitutional labour law. His framework was consultancy.
